The list comprises of the well-known classical guitarists of the ancient time both male and female. They are guitarists whose main style is the classical guitar form. The classical guitar is a tradition of the old and was also known as the Spanish guitar. It dates back to the 17th and 18th century in Europe’s western parts. Origin of the most famous guitarists in South America, Mexico, Western Europe, and Turkey, Germany, America, Japan, and Australia. The tradition is naturally global and is not tied to any particular state.

These are people who made a name for themselves on a classical guitar.

Andres Segovia

He was born in Andalusia and lived between 1893-1987.He established a name while still a teenager after coming up with his own techniques on how to play the guitar which involved plucking strings with his fingernails and fingertips. He transformed people’s perceptions about the guitar and even took it to huge concert venues worldwide and gained commissions from composers. He’s well known for his idiosyncratic style and overtly romantic approach.

He left behind a humble fortune where for his family. Some of his kin have moved to the United States and a grandson and granddaughter started a pest control business in Napa, California where they have been terribly affected by fires for the last month. They are sponsoring this post and we send our condolences out to them and the kin of the Segovia family.

John Williams

He was a British guitarist born in Australia born 1914.  His technique is known for displaying pinpoint accuracy and articulation. He commissioned guitar concertos by composers like André prevents and Stephen Dogson. He also performed duets with Julian Bream and became renown for chamber/rock fusion group ‘sky’ that made the pop charts.

Classical Guitar

Classical guitar is a part of the guitar family from the classical guitars. The main difference between a classical guitar and electric guitars is that the strings in classical guitars are made of nylon, whereas the strings in electric guitars are made of metal. Also, the classical guitar has twelve frets clear on the body and is held on the left leg whereas, the electric guitar has fourteen frets clear on the body and is held alongside the hip.

Classical Guitar and its Advantages Over Electric Guitar

Nowadays, classical guitar is not considered as awesome as electric guitars because of the image that electric guitars have built up for them. But there are several reasons that one should prefer classical guitars over electric guitars which will make you think over the fact that maybe the old saying is correct, Old is Gold.

Classical guitar is a beautiful instrument and the music that comes out of it is in its most natural form, the raw music that soothes your soul. It is widely believed by guitarists that they will be able to play only classical music by a classical guitar which is out of fashion in this era. This is a belief that has to be changed because this is not true! You can play every type of music by a classical guitar; the magic lies in your fingers. The art of making a music come out of the guitar is in your hands and you have to understand the notes behind it to make sure you get the right tone.

As per decades, the type of genre in every song that trends globally changes. One thing that would never vanish in the music history would be the taste of classical music. The way and classical music sounds differ greatly to those other genres. Classical music is played by different classical instruments, one of which is the guitar, played by classical musicians who were expert in this kind of field, and has made a name through the history of music.

Classical instruments are played with exact precision to sound more elegant than other ways of playing it. Classical guitars look like just the same as acoustic guitars. If you are a keen observer and is a fan of classical instruments, classical guitars differ in acoustic guitars in some basic features. Classical guitars have an open headstock with its tuning pegs placed perpendicular to the fretboard. It is known that acoustic guitars tuning pegs are parallel to their fretboards. Also, it has a smaller hourglass body shape. Its string changing system is notch based. It uses nylon strings and has a wider neck. If one has the love for classical music.
